Open seasonally — roughly April 28 through October 31

Like most plant nurseries in Wisconsin, our garden center is a seasonal operation. We typically open in late April and run through the end of October. Our general business hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM – 5 PM and Saturday 8 AM – 4 PM (closed Sunday). Hours and stock vary slightly with the season — call (715) 832-4553 if you're driving in for something specific.

Bulk pickup or delivery

Need a yard of mulch, decorative rock, or topsoil? We sell in bulk by the cubic yard and either load your truck or deliver. If you're getting an install or landscape refresh from our crew, we can roll the materials into the project quote so you only pay one bill.

Why a real garden center matters

Plants from a real garden center are sourced for the climate, watered properly, and not stuck on a baking parking lot for weeks. The result: a much higher survival rate after planting. We also actually know what we're selling — if you bring us a soil sample, photo of the spot, and a sense of how much sun the area gets, we can recommend things you'll still love three years from now.

Pair the garden center with installation

Many customers buy plants and DIY install them — and that's great. But if you'd rather not haul mulch and dig clay yourself, our team can install everything for you. Combined with our excavating and grading services, we can handle whole yards from soil prep to last plant in the ground.

Problems We Solve

Common headaches we fix every week

Plants from the box store keep dying

Better-conditioned, climate-appropriate plants from a real garden center survive at much higher rates.

Don't know what plant goes where

Bring photos and sun info — we'll recommend specific plants that thrive in your spot.

Mulch from bagged retailers feels expensive

Bulk by the yard is dramatically cheaper for medium and large beds, and we'll deliver.

Need a lot of decorative rock fast

We stock river rock, granite, and limestone in bulk — pickup or delivery.

Empty entry beds before a party

Pre-grown hanging baskets and planters give instant impact without weeks of waiting.

Want to start a vegetable garden but soil is bad

We sell screened topsoil and compost to build a real bed that actually grows food.
